• right drag with the mouse to look around
• left click on the surface to make a wave
• use the arrow keys to float around
• type over the window to create letters which will fall down after some time (when you type they will always be placed in the center of the image regardless of your viewing direction)
• you can drag the letters around while they have not sunk with the middle mouse
• hold F1 to becalm the waves and press F2 to add some more

Alphabet soup has no game play - it is just for contemplation. You type in letters and words and watch them drop down, emanate waves and then drown. Thats all.
